Arnold Jones field was refurbished as a PPP( Public Private Partnership) project with, Golden Eagles Football Club. It was a very long process which finally yielded good results. It is now well manicured that it has attracted the National teams who have come to train at the ground including some big names like F. C. Platinum, Dynamos, Ngezi Platinum . The ground has seen the likes of Sunday Chidzambwa, Rahman Gumbo, Zdravko Logarusic striding onto it. The U20 warriors team trained at Ellis Robins School in Arnold Jones ahead of the 2020 COSAFA Youth Championships played in South Africa. The warriors also used the ground ahead of their Afcon qualifiers. We cherish the partnership we have with Golden Eagles Football Club as it will help us in talent identification and expose our boys’ capabilities at very high levels. This partnership will see our teams soaring to greater heights and bring back the lost glory. They are developing our soccer teams starting from the grass roots, the 15 years and under. This has become a very strong team which trains even on Saturday in the Arnold Jones ground. The envy of many schools, it has become the Competition and practice venue for District Athletics.
